The Art Center recognizes these people for their many valuable contributions to our success. Every volunteer makes the journey possible; they are the heart, hands, and dedication behind our mission.

Jim Houle has been a longtime, dedicated supporter and a strong member of our organization. He provided thoughtful leadership and creative direction to the Camera Club while serving as its Chairman, and also served as an officer on the Board. A familiar face to many, he has often been the jovial emcee at our Christmas socials and can frequently be found volunteering as an usher during theatre performances.

Don Taylor’s involvement with the Art Center is marked by decades of dedicated financial leadership. He first served on the Financial Advisory Board starting in 2000, supporting then-President Sharon Harris in the effort to build the theater. He later served as Treasurer during Mac Harris’s term and guided the organization through the transition to current President Karrie Mast. When the Art Center suspended operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, Don stepped up to the challenge. He researched and secured vital financial support from government programs and successfully reworked our mortgage. This critical work was a major factor in our financial survival during that period. We are deeply grateful for his years of service and the countless hours he devoted.

Jaret Lubowiecki currently serves as the Theatre Gallery Coordinator and Theatre House Manager for Friday night shows. Jaret is a former President of the Art Center and directed the first play ever produced by our organization, “How Green was my Brownie,”  even holding rehearsals on her front porch. She was one of the primary drivers in creating our theater, and in the intervening years, she has served as a strong representative of the organization. She’s often seen helping with the “Take In” exhibit and the Opening Night Receptions.

Bob or Mary Ellen Craver. When you enter our theater, chances are you’ve been greeted by a warm, genuine smile from Bob or Mary Ellen Craver. This couple has consistently contributed their time and talent. Mary Ellen has applied her skill as an actor on our stage, often lending her beautiful singing voice to our musicals, and together, she and Bob have formed a tireless duo. They have volunteered in everything from the technical booth to serving as House Managers and Ushers in our theatre front-of-house. Their positive attitude and willingness to help across every area of our theater create a welcoming atmosphere that is truly felt and appreciated by all.
