The Art Center Shutterbugs are excited to announce its February workshop, “Five Steps to a Perfect Photograph”. The workshop will take place on Monday, February 16, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at the Art Center of Citrus County (2644 N. Annapolis Ave).

In this workshop you will learn to master the settings available in your camera to produce the photograph that you create, instead of letting the camera choose the settings for the photo.  

We will discuss how the different shutter speeds can create an entirely different photo by completely stopping the action or blurring the movement. 

We will demonstrate how a large aperture can create a totally contrasting photo compared to an extremely small aperture, thus changing the entire look of the photo.

We will show how the ISO can change the quality of the photograph.  We will explore how extremely high ISO’s can “save” a photo.

In this workshop we will talk about how choosing the correct order of choosing and using the settings can make a huge difference in your photos.

We will discuss how the histogram can be your guide to creating a photograph that will be totally workable in post-editing to create the perfect photo that you want.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have the confidence to be able to create the photo that you want people to see when they view your photograph.

Your instructor, Ken Voegele has worked as a professional photographer for the past 38 years.  He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography.  He received his Master Photography Certificate from the Chicago Professional Photographer’s Association in 2006.  Ken was also awarded Wedding Photograph of the Year from the Illinois Professional Photographer’s Association in 2011.  In 2015 Ken’s photo company, Studio 3 Productions was awarded The Knot’s Wedding Hall of Fame for being in the top 1% of wedding photographers.
