The Art Center Shutterbugs of Citrus County has been formed to promote and encourage photographic arts to its membership and the residents of Citrus County.
The “Shutterbugs” will explore the connection between our eye, the camera, and the artistic reproduction it creates.
The ACS is an informal, friendly, and supportive group for photographers of all levels wishing to share ideas and knowledge with others. Meetings, workshops, field trips, and classes are held throughout the year.
The “Shutterbugs” will provide photographic opportunities through competitions, special interest groups, exhibitions, group critiques, and practices of good picture taking.
VISION:
To create a forum for the healthy exchange of ideas and knowledge between all aspects of the photographic and imaging community.
To provide enriching photographic opportunities to our membership through exchanges with other similar organizations, workshops, classes, and special interest groups.
VALUES:
Honesty, Artistic Integrity, Creativity, Knowledge, Commitment, and Teamwork.
