Join us Thursdays, from 10 AM until 1 PM as we explore the magic of Watercolor.

Each week we choose a different subject to paint. Our friendly artists help newcomers become comfortable with techniques.

Recommended supplies:
Good watercolor paper, such as Arches or Fabriano, quarter sheets or a block.
Professional level paints, Daniel Smith, Holbein, Winsor Newton. Be sure you have at least the three primaries, yellow, blue and red. All colors can be mixed from these. Amazon has a beginner’s set of 12 tubes of Winsor Newton for $48
Brushes: synthetic brushes work well. You should have a number 14 round, a half inch flat, a small detail brush and a 2 inch brush or mop for wetting your paper. King Art has a good beginners set on Amazon.
If you’re curious about watercolor, this is the group for you. Annual membership at the beautifully designed Art Center of Citrus County, is only $45 and give you access to all the artist groups and camera club.
