January 2026 Newsletter

Happy New Year!

I hope this message finds you well and off to a wonderful start in 2026.
We closed out December with a very successful Youth Program theater performance. After four months of learning about theater, acting and dedicated rehearsals, our youth truly shined on stage. Their hard work, creativity and enthusiasm were evident, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they accomplished.

In addition to performances, we host a monthly “Fun Night” here at the Art Center for our youth. January’s fun night was filled with games, a movie, drawing and creative art projects, along with snacks and prizes. These evenings give our young artists, ages 9-17 years old, a chance to connect, create, and simply enjoy being part of our arts community.
Our art groups and Camera Club continue to thrive, offering so many opportunities to learn, grow, and explore creativity together. There is truly something for everyone at the Art
Center, and we are grateful for the continued support and participation from our community.

If you have any interest in joining one of our groups or would like more information, please feel free to contact us at artcenterofcitruscounty@gmail.com or call our box office at 352-746-7606

Next up in our theater for the 2026 season is the “Miss Magnolia”, a Senior Citizen Pageant.
Performances run on weekends through February 1st, and we invite you to come enjoy this delightful production.
Please feel free to stop by and visit. We’d love for you to meet some of our wonderful volunteers, explore the Art Center, and see firsthand all that’s happening here.

Thank you for being part of the Art Center of Citrus County. We look forward to an exciting
and creative year ahead.
Warm Regards,
Karrie Bailey
